Behavior consulting:
Diagnose and explain challenging or puzzling behaviors
Educate you and demonstrate proven hands-on techniques for solving problems
Follow up to evaluate and guide your progress
Change techniques as you and your pet progress

Obedience training:
Teach basic commands such as sit, stay, lay, etc.
Insure that your pet will reliably respond each time a command is given
Teach your pet how to properly act in social settings

Puppy Socialization Classes:
6 week course (1 day/week) for $100, which will give you an early start in teaching your puppy basic manners and proper greeting methods
Provide socialization opportunities with dogs, humans and the veterinary clinic to prevent future occurrences of anxiety and fear.
Interactive class which will be fun for you and your puppy
Cost: $100 (includes training tools and literature)

Pre-pet Counseling, pet matching, and temperament testing:
Assistance in deciding what type of pet or certain breed of dog will work best for you and/or your family
Look at future plans and lifestyle to properly match you with the right animal
Behavioral evaluations and rehab programs for shelter animals
Cost: $40 (within Baton Rouge area) additional fee for travel outside of this area

What to expect at a behavior consultation:

Ryan performs all initial consultations at your home. This enables him to see the environment in which your pet lives, observe your pet's behavior in familiar surroundings, and makes it easy for the entire family to participate in the consultation. This initial visit lasts about two hours. He will perform a detailed interview to gather as much information about your pet's problems as possible. This process allows him to accurately identify the underlying causes of any behavioral issues so that he can develop the proper treatment plan to get your pet back on track to healthy lifestyle. He will explain each behavior modification protocol to you. He will also demonstrate each protocol and coach you in how to perform the behavior modification until you feel comfortable doing it on your own. He will provide you with a written Behavior Modification Report that will document what was covered in the consultation. Once you've completed the initial consultation you will receive unlimited phone and email support free of charge for 3 months. He will check in with you weekly and bi-weekly to assess your progress and help keep you motivated and on track.
